Locals Night at Cedaredge Lodge: A Monthly Cedaredge Event With Pizza and Pickleball
Updated: Oct 15
Over the past year, Ted and I have built some really fun spaces here at Cedaredge Lodge. A pickleball court. A game room. Patios by the creek. A few of you started asking if all of that was just for overnight guests.
Until recently, the answer was yes… but I got to thinking. Why not open it up a bit?
So we did. Once a month, the lodge is yours too. Locals Night has quickly become one of our favorite Cedaredge events, and we hope it becomes one of yours.
Our monthly Cedaredge event
Locals Night is usually the last Wednesday of every month, from 4 to 8 PM, but confirm with our Events schedule on Facebook, especially during the holidays. No reservation, no special occasion, no dressing up. Come straight from work, bring a friend, or bring the whole crew. It's a family-friendly night, so bring the kids too.
What we'll have
We keep it simple:
Beer, local wines, and local ciders
Pizza (yes, this time there's pizza)
Good company, and probably a few people you haven't met yet

What you can do while you're here

Play Patch

Game Room

Creekside
Out back, the Play Patch has pickleball, basketball, volleyball, cornhole, horseshoes, croquet, and badminton. If someone wants to teach me pickleball, I'm still ready.
Inside, the game room has pool, darts, foosball, air hockey, Skee-Ball, and a stack of board games.
Or skip all of that. Grab a chair by the creek, sit by the fire pit, and catch up with your neighbors. Honestly, that's my favorite part.
Why we're doing this
When we bought this place, it had been a while since it felt like part of town. We spent a year bringing the lodge back to life, and we didn't do it just for travelers passing through. We did it so Cedaredge would have a place to gather.
There are great Delta County events all year, like Applefest, but most of them come around once a year. We wanted something you could count on every month.
Our first couple of Locals Nights brought out new friends and old friends. What more could we ask for?
Have family coming to town?
Locals Night is for our neighbors, but Cedaredge Lodge is still a place to stay. If friends or family are visiting and need lodging in Cedaredge, CO, send them our way. We're a family-friendly lodge at the foot of the Grand Mesa, about 15 minutes from Delta.
Every room has a kitchen or kitchenette, and the game room and Play Patch are right out back. Plan their visit so they can come to Locals Night with you.
Come on out
Plans can change now and then, so check the Events calendar on our Facebook page for the latest, along with any other Cedaredge events we're hosting. Or give me a call at (970) 901-1196.
We'd love to see you here.
